Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Morris County, New Jersey. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
