Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Webster County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
