Blocklayer wanted in Monongalia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Monongalia County, West Virginia. You will work on a new-build development. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off.
