Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Gonzales County, Texas. The job is in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Full-time, day shift.
