Garment presser — Ikere

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Ikere, Ekiti State. The job is at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
