We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Reno County, Kansas. The job is at a busy building site. What we are looking for: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Working-at-height certificate an advantage On the job you will handle: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Rotating shifts.
