Moulder wanted in Cass County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Cass County, Illinois. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
