Road roller operator wanted in Upshur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in Upshur County, Texas. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; check for underground cables and services before digging; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
