Paint and prep technician — Chester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Chester County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. On the job you will handle: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale 3+ years on the tools preferred.
