CO2 welder — Dodge County

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Dodge County, Georgia. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
