Pipe TIG welder — Starke County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Starke County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
