Solid plasterer — Iowa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Iowa County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
