Meat trimmer — Michika

Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Michika, Adamawa State. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day-to-day duties: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Part-time with flexible hours.
