Overlocker operator — Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lake County, Indiana. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
