Pipe lagger — Gallatin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Gallatin County, Illinois. The job is at an industrial plant. Your main tasks: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
