House painter — Van Buren County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a house painter in Van Buren County, Iowa. You will work on commercial fit-out projects. On a typical shift you will hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. What we are looking for: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish Overtime paid at a premium rate.
