Flatlock machine operator — Toto

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Toto, Nasarawa State. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
