Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
