Road roller operator — Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Pike County, Ohio. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Six days a week, one day off.
