Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Nottinghamshire, England. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor The role involves: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
