Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Troup County, Georgia. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
