Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
