Track-type tractor operator — Douglas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Douglas County, South Dakota. The job is on a quarry floor. On a typical shift you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Requirements: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
