MIG welder — Lorain County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Lorain County, Ohio. You will work on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
