Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Knowsley, England. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
