Foundry worker wanted in Cornwall

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Cornwall, England. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
