Vacancy available: trowel-trade bricklayer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in McLennan County, Texas. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
