Urgent requirement: bricklayer (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Nemaha County, Kansas. You will work at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
