Immediate opening: tower crane operator (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Robertson County, Tennessee. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. You will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
