Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. The role involves: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
