You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Six days a week, one day off.
