Bodywork technician — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Polk County, Iowa. You will work at a paint and panel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
