CO2 welder — Wicomico County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Wicomico County, Maryland. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
