Join our team: VMC operator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Martin County, Kentucky. The job is in a toolroom. Day to day you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade We offer $21 per hour plus benefits.
