Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Union County, Illinois. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
