Sewing machine operator — Port-Harcourt

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Meals and transport allowance provided.
