Brickwork mason • Hampton County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Hampton County, South Carolina. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
