Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics.
