Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Buchanan County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time with occasional weekends.
