Immediate opening: we are hiring a security officer in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will work at a factory gate. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours On a typical shift you will control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; write up incident reports after any disturbance; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door.
