Maintenance painter — Sabon Birni

Now hiring: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
