What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds On a typical shift you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; clean condenser and evaporator coils; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
