Cnc lathe setter — Columbia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Columbia County, New York. On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
