Moulder — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Washington County, New York. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time, day shift.
