Groundskeeper — Boone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Boone County, Iowa. You will work in a public park. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage On the job you will handle: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe 3+ years on the tools preferred.
