Urgent requirement: power float operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
