Tailor machinist — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Macon County, North Carolina. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
