Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Atchison County, Missouri. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
