Gantry crane operator — Tipton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tipton County, Tennessee. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Full-time, day shift.
