Gas service engineer — Sherman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Sherman County, Texas. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Day to day you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
